and tell a little more about what I do!
Hi! I am Lauren, welcome to my page!
I trained to be a chef in culinary school 12 Years ago in Norfolk before moving down to London once I had become qualified to work. I wanted to develop my passion and fully learn the art of cooking so I started out in a 2 Michelin starred restaurant run by Marcus Wareing, which is where my love for pastry began and here is where I knew my passion lies.
I then moved on to working with an incredible chocolate master in Cambridge where I learnt the art of chocolate and expanded my knowledge even more so before heading back to London to pursue my pastry chef dream.
I started working for Coutts Bank and worked my way up to Head Pastry Chef across the years I had worked there and now I am here, creating something for my own. The Norfolk Rustic Baker is dedicated to crafting traditional bakes that are both timeless and simply delightful.
With a passion for creating classic treats, whether you're deserving of a treat for yourself or celebrating a special moment with family, I take pride in ensuring every bake is created with the intention of being enjoyed and I hope you love them as much as I love baking them!
